Black Bread Garlic Toast

To hell with counting carbs….at 90 calories per slice I’ll treat myself to TWO of these crunchy creations!  Black bread is hearty and sturdy. Toasting it makes a perfect chip because you can dip it in something like dip and it doesn’t get soggy. This will certainly be my “go to” chip for dips, salsa and sides!

4 slices of Wild’s thinly sliced 100% whole grain Black Bread
Salt & pepper
Garlic powder
Basil (dried)


Place bread slices on a pan
Spread butter on top of all slices
Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder and basil
Place in toaster oven and toast until butter has melted.

Yields 2 servings
